Amelia Cheever

Amelia Cheever is a costume designer based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN.  She has designed over 50 productions for the Jungle Theater and has designed at the Guthrie Theater, Mary Worth Theater, Penumbra Theater, History Theater, Mixed Blood Theater, Ten Thousand Things Theater, Park Square Theater and many others.   

She received her education from the College of St. Benedict where she graduated with a B. A. in Theater.  Amelia has an M. F. A. in Costume Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.   

Amelia was previously employed at the Guthrie Theater as a Costume Design Assistant working with Directors and Costumes Designers from all over the world from 1998 until 2012.

Currently Amelia is teaching Costume and Theater courses at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University in Minnesota.
